I am a pizza connoisseur. I love pizzas of all shapes, sizes, and varieties, spanning the spectrum from Cici's to Napoli. I could eat pizza for every meal and be perfectly fine with it. That being said, Pastime is one of the absolute worst excuses for a pizza I've ever had. Bland, tasteless, cardboard crust crap.
I will, on the other hand, destroy some Gattis, and I agree about the green olives on a pizza. Their buffalo chicken pizza and bacon-chicken-ranch pizza are legit, too.
My favorite place in town right now though is the new LIT on Burbank. Hot, delicious, and cheap.

I'm the same way,i could literally eat pizza every day.I was very surprised how great lit pizza is. Just adding in I'm not a fan of fleur-de-lis, don't know why it's so popular.

Reopening is next Friday.
Gattis pizza will always be my local favorite based on the sheer amount of toppings on each pizza. The sampler weighs like 10 damn pounds with everything on it.

All you Gattis lovers need to get admitted to an asylum. Gattis pizza is fricking awful. No matter what type you're eating it all taste the same. My wife and kids love it also, feel like im living in bizzaro world.

You need to try a little place on Coursey blvd called Bistro Italia.
Everything there is great including the pizza. My favorite is the East Coast Classic but even their Greek pizza is awesome.

I've been to fleur de lis a couple times. My pizzas were nothing but greasy and soggy.The crust was non existent.

We used to have a Mr. Gatti's in Pensacola years ago and it was the best ever. Not sure if it's the same chain or not though.

Mr. Splatti's is without a doubt the best pizza joint, although i did have LIT for the first time about a two weeks ago and that was pretty damn good. But you can't beat the Splatti's. I remember watching some college kid try to eat 100 pieces at the old one in Thibodaux as a kid. They kicked him out at 50.
