Hey everyone, I am moving out to the Mobile-Pensacola area this summer for my job. I am not very familiar with the area so I was hoping someone here would know.

I am in my mid 20's and single. I am moving for regional work so I will be traveling a lot or working from home so I am not too worried about the daily commute.

I guess I am just looking for a good area for a 26 year old to be around other young professionals.

Is Pensacola good for young, single adults?

I have been told to rent a house in Midtown but I don't exactly know where the best places are in midtown. Would you look close to downtown? Trying to meet people and do stuff while I am down there.

Thanks!

That's like saying "I'm moving to Baton Rouge-New Orleans" area. There's really no comparison and they are an hour away. 2 totally differnt cities.

Isn't that area called the Emerald Coast?

Pensacola is ok, but Mobile may have more young people. Get an apartment at the Edge or right outside USA (Non-students can live there) or a place downtown.

Downtown Pensacola is pretty nice, I'd consider living there. Definitely seems like enough to do for someone your age.

Thanks for the replies, Yeah I am not really looking by where the Leprechauns live. more like a place I will be able to find other people my age and have stuff to do. I know the eastern shore is nice but I heard it is all young families and old people. Just wondering if anyone here had any good information to narrow my search!

Sorry I logged off. did not mean to offend you!
