So, is SA still improving? My friend makes it sound like its all Mexicans and sprawl.

I fly down there once a month for work and I'd listen to those who say stay north. It's a nice city overall. But you go south and you're in Mexico Norte.

I have family in Alamo Heights. It's a nice area, centrally located. Home prices are inflated for what you get due to the school system and old money. Locally known as "Alamo Whites."

Don't live in New Braunfels and plan to drive to SA every day unless you enjoy more than occasional traffic gridlock. NB is a wonderful place to go on the weekends though, year round.
