I'm probably cooking steaks for my mother. The last few times we've tried to go out to eat, it's been a complete disaster.

A new broom and dustpan. I don't know how she fricked up the last ones in 11 years but she did.

Next time I'm taking the money from her arse.

I don't know what I'm getting them yet, but I know they'll be getting me guilt and resentment.

How do you not burn the frick out of your kids' hands?

They make special gloves for this. I did this last year but on their feet. The gloves didn't fit the feet exactly tight but my 4 year old got over it in a couple days.

I guess I walked right into that one.

I will draw an outline of their hands on the wood and then use a woodburner to finish it. The kids' hands will not be anywhere near the burner.

I'm a mom ... I really would like a hibiscus bush and a pretty planter. And for my kids to all be here and get along. And that's seriously about it.

See, this is my kind of mom right here.

If you care about your mom, I wouldn't advise on dragging her out to eat on Sunday. Worst day of the year to go out to eat.
