Not sure about the shaving, but I get the mother's point. Unfortunately is your daughter has no compassion for a cancer patient then mom probably did something wrong in her upbringing. Props to her though.

This is total assumption. It's very likely that a girl who would bully a cancer patient is devious enough to pretend and act just the way someone wants them to act all the while not appreciating anything the lesson was intended to teach in your scenario.

iirc the bully teased the other girl about being bald, no better lesson than to make the bully walk around for a few week bald and experience what it's like, even though she'll never get the full experience unless she gets cancer.

I don't have a problem with the head shaving. I think recording it and then putting on the internet is shameful. Mama's a bit of a bully herself.
