A mother accused of making no effort to rescue her screaming six-year-old daughter from a house fire as she fled the blaze to save herself wept in court on Sunday.
Erica Rosello, 32, allegedly escaped the property in Miami on Thursday night as the blaze consumed her apartment - but left her daughter behind.
The fire is said to have taken hold of the home after Rosello poured water on an oil fire in the kitchen.
She became separated from her daughter and ran out of the apartment before allegedly flagging down a car and asking the driver to take her to a friend's house, WSVN reported.

In her case, on purpose. It wouldn't shock me if the fire was NOT accidental.

You think a woman knows not to throw water on an oil fire?

Meh, fire is scary and six year olds are heavy. I say give her a pass.

It certainly looks like she was trying to kill the child.

Probably wanted to pin the drugs in the home on the daughter.

Exactly, maybe she was leading the way out.

The kid lived. I had to read the story to find out - you left it out.
Hopefully that child never has to see this animal again.
Just fricking nuke Florida already.
