The quickest money I ever made was playing poker at Harrahs in NOLA. Sat down and I kept getting top 10 hands every hand. I bullied the table for an hour.
Was up 500. Then I push all in on a guy who wouldn't lay down QQ's after re-raising him twice.
Only had AK but my luck was solid gold that night. Flopped AK nothing and crushed his spirits
Left immediately after that hand with a grand. Eta...2 people commented they mucked a Q (after the hand) so his only shot was a straight. We had the same suits so a flush was no good.

I win between $50k-$75k every night. Some nights I quadruple that, I've never lost though.

$1000 by playing a penny slot machine. I'm not into gambling but penny machine are fun for a few dollars of fun.
I also won many thousands of $$ by sitting by my fiance as he played poker and stealing his high dollar chips as he played as he won. I'd sit next to him and drink non-alcoholic drinks as he downed vodka and played.
Next morning he would wake up, wonder how much he spent and I would break out what I "won" from him, give it back to him and he would laugh his butt off because I kept him from losing because I'd be taking his chips while he still had them. I always had his back like that.

Don't gamble often and usually stick a $20 in a slot if I'm hanging around the casino. Once hit $1500. One night I was on the losing end of $300 after playing BJ with some buddies and with the last $100 I had I hit a slot for $320 and got the hell out. At a meeting in Vegas a few weeks back and hit it for $450. I figure I'm positive or flush in lifetime winnings versus my stake.

You don't have to believe me... I've lost money, but have won many more times then I have lost. My wife went visit her sister a couple of months ago and I hit the casino the Saturday night and won $1,600... It was the last time I've played. You just have to know when to get up. I don't know how many times I kept playing after hitting my number only to lose it all back. I would rather go alone and know when to leave instead of with others to determine when you can leave. I play once in a while now and don't win or lose much at all.
Made a trip to Vegas last year for a conference and ended up down about $700 over a week, but there were a lot of swings both ways, but was never up as I lost $400 the first night and was never able to make it up. Still a good time.
Edit: I've only played craps a hand full of times but the first time I ever played I threw the dice for a good 30 minutes without busting out and ended up with about $700 (didn't bet much because I wasn't familiar with the game at all), but a guy next to me was betting big and won thousands.. He gave me $50 after I threw for helping him win so much. I only played a couple times after that and never really won like that night. Blackjack is my game.

At Harrah's last year for the Nola bowl i put 10$ in the wheel of fortune slot machine and played 3$ a spin. Down to 4$ and had 3/5 wheel of fortunes in a row come up and won 500$. As soon as cashed my money out i Went across the casino and put 5$ in the machine. Won 12 free spins on my first spin and one of those free spins was 77777
It was a penny slot and i was betting pretty low so i ended up winning only 215$.
Walked out of there after that 700$ ritcher
Have not won a penny on the slots since then, although when i play the slots i usually just put in 5 or 10$. I ususally just count cards playing blackjack
