Turn off 90 onto 83 past Baldwin heading to the Gulf. Right before the Vacherie Canal is Ashton, past it is Gold Mine.

Short Meat is behind Teche Farm Supply where Back Rd & 80 Arpent Rd intersect.

Duty ferry isn't a town THE duty ferry is at Enterprise, LA. It's called DUTY ferry because there's a $1 duty to cross the river. And it's on the same side of the river as Harrisonburg, straight(relative) up hwy 124. It is a scenic drive is you like pine trees and cutovers.
