Driving I-10 all the way west through Texas. Never been so happy to see the "Welcome to New Mexico" sign than on that drive.


And loved that at the border patrol stop on that drive I get stopped for questioning....me a white blonde girl traveling alone.

I did it with my now wife, when we moved her from CO to AL. a moving truck with no cruise control = a draining drive.

I-80 across Wyoming. Passed a sign that said next gas station 280 miles...

yeah we were heading to that giant pass (cant remember the name) for what seemed like 4 hours..it never got any closer.

some criteria need to be defined to make this legit...like a minimum distance.

That said, Denver to KC on I-70 or I-80 through Nebraska is rough.
