What up FWL’ers?
First, it’s a week delayed, but officially, 31 is your 2014-15 season champion and even pulled off the second half title.
We should applaud him, I suppose. Are we can treat him like Roman Reigns and boo him. It’s your call.

With that said, let’s turn a leaf to the new season which will begin Sunday, Feb. 22, for WWE’s inaugural Fastlane live on the WWE Network. The Network is actually free this month to new subscribers, so feel free to sign up and hell, you get WWE NXT Takeover live next Wednesday, Feb. 11, which features Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens for the NXT Championship and Charlotte vs. Bayley vs. Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks for the NXT Women’s Championship. (P.S. Live thread?)

But while we’re talking about the future, I’d like to throw some ideas out for the next year of FWL:

1. I’d like to institute a DAL award for mocking purposes. The DAL Award, or the award for he or she who finishes dead-arse last, will be presented after each pay-per-view, as well as at the end of the two six-month periods. To be fair, in that case, the DAL Award will be presented to someone who submitted picks for all six of the pay-per-views. We’ll also do one for the full season. Yes, I realize this could EASILY be me.
2. As kick-off matches are announced ahead of time now, what say you about moving the deadline to prior to kick-off? I would be open to making this a bonus point match as well.

Furthermore, I’d like to submit the points for the next year along with the breakdown of the rules so we’re not confused. When my hard-drive crashed in the summer, I lost the original breakdown so I lost track of points myself and I lost track of the MITB cash-in. I know several of you used it this past week, but I can’t remember who used it prior, so we’re going to basically ignore Seth as far as points are concerned. Feel free, however, to say when you think it’ll happen. It’ll be nice bragging rights at least. Point values are as follows:

• 5 points for a normal match.
• 6 points for a championship match.
• 8 points for the MITB match winner.
• 10 points for the Royal Rumble match winner.
• 2 bonus points for the outcome of a normal/normal championship match. Must state how the person wins (i.e. via pin, submission, DQ)
• 2 bonus points for steel cage matches/Hell-in-a-Cell matches, etc. Must state how the person wins (i.e. via pin, submission, cage escape—in the case of the steel cage)
• 2 bonus points for the outcome of a normal/normal championship tag team match. Must state the finish outcome and participants (i.e. Jey Uso pins The Miz, Paige submits Nikki Bella)
• 2 bonus points for naming the individual who has the most eliminations during the Royal Rumble match. In case of a tie, all those who answer either individual will be awarded 2 points.
• 10 bonus points for a MITB cash-in. Like the cash-in, you use it, you lose it. (This will be instituted the next MITB PPV and the next winner).

Please submit any ideas you have to improve the FWL here tonight so we have time to discuss them.
