the cylinder represents how our lives are one repeating process that only have a finite amount of time. our true selves are located in the core, but aren't accessible because we get caught up in our daily grind. before we realize it, we have run out of concentric circles and we become void, leaving a black hole as our legacy

it is just overvalued. when you create something that can mean anything, then you've created something that means nothing. the abstraction is just a way for perceived elitists to try to exude their elitism by creating their own language around it. it's just an exclusionary behavior and i wish it was publicly labeled as such
