In the market for a brand new single wide trailer for a hunting/fishing camp. Who has the best prices and selection in the Lafayette or Lake Charles area?

They're called "tiny houses" now. Getting the name right should help you start your search.

Do you actually need something that big for a hunting camp? I have a 26' travel trailer for sale in Lafayette. It's a 2014 with slide out, a Murphy bed, and two bunks. We are trying to downsize to an R-Pod.

AFAIK, Jim Tatman is the #1 retailer in this area. His dealership is in Carencro.

Didn't some of those FEMA trailers/population reducers have unsafe materials making their safety questionable?

We bought one for our daughter from Jim Tatman in Opelousas. It was one of the original "Gotcha" girls that sold it to us. She was very knowledgeable about their product. I highly recommend them.

Tilley's is your answer. May be worth it to contact their "Repo Depo" in Shreveport to see whats in stock. They also have a lot with new homes in Lafayette and Lake Charles.
