Autism by the year 2025

"At a [recent] conference, in a special panel discussion about GMOs, she took the audience by surprise when she declared, “At today’s rate, by 2025one in two children will be autistic.” She noted that the side effects of autism closely mimic those of glyphosate toxicity, and presented data showing a remarkably consistent correlation between the use of Roundup on crops (and the creation of Roundup-ready GMO crop seeds) with rising rates of autismc

"A fellow panelist reported that after Dr. Seneff’s presentation, “All of the 70 or so people in attendance were squirming, likely because they now had serious misgivings about serving their kids, or themselves, anything with corn or soy, which are nearly all genetically modified and thus tainted with Roundup and its glyphosate.”

This study will probably get discredited, but something is up with the autism, ADD, and food allergies. I'm sure it's just better diagnosis. My wild arse guess is plastics.

So this PhD. In electrical engineering and computer science is doing medical research and testing?

Sounds like someone is using their MIT credentials to try to legitimize some junk science to further some agenda.

I was under the impression that roundup toxicity was due to the surfactant used rather than the glyphosate itself.

I have no doubt that by 2025 we'll find some way to put half of all kids on the spectrum

It's pretty easy to get diagnosed in the spectrum. Any kind of quirk or anxiety at ALL and someone will claim they are autistic. I don't like public speaking. I don't like large crowds. I get nervous in public places. Must be autistic.

So what are your qualifications to call her research "junk science?"

This is a rehash of some shitty paper from 2 years ago. Good job posting this crap with no research into its validity.

According to the MSDS glyphosate had no affect on animals but the surfactant would irritate a rabbits eyes.

Rise in ADD/autism is partially due to lazy, shitty teachers. They don't know, because 99% are women, how to engage young boys. They don't know how to foster their development without trying to force them into the same path or personality as their female students. So they call mom and dad, tell them that their son is out of control and might need to see a doctor. The parents, fearing that something is wrong with their kid, succumb to this suggestion. What does the doctor do? Pushes a prescription down his throat, because that's what doctors do these days.
