Authorities are investigating a report that a woman’s body was found Tuesday in a ditch on Rosedale Road in Grosse Tete.

The area is not far from the one that was searched last week after Lyntell Washington, a 40-year-old Baton Rouge school administrator, went missing last Thursday. Her 3-year-old daughter was discovered Thursday morning outside Washington’s abandoned car.

Iberville Parish Sheriff Brett Stassi said a farmer called the Sheriff’s Office reporting that he found a woman’s body in a ditch on Rosedale Road in Grosse Tete.

Very sad.

I don't understand why people believe that they can really get away with murder in this day and age.

I'm pretty confident that I could get away with it, especially a stranger.

Because 1/3 of murders are never solved.

It is so terrible to kill people. It is worse to defile their bodies. This is tragic.
