Am I a bad person for being disgusted that there was a tree in the first place. It's sad that a human life was lost, but he was no hero or martyr. He was a criminal that died while attacking someone.

He certainly didn't do anything to warrant a fricking memorial anything.

You have to realize that a large segment of people truly believe that Brown was a victim. You may truly believe he was a POS, but others don't.

It's okay to disagree, but it's no reason to act like an animal thug POS and trash a memorial. A civilized person can respectfully disagree with someone, even on a hot button issue.

I think a lot of religions are full of shite and dangerous to society, but I don't advocate destroying their property.

Well, it would take brains and throwing the race card out to see it that way. The majority of this country doesn't have that ability.

Like the newspaper and it's sensationalist headline, you've made the assumption that a police supporter destroyed the tree. Neither you nor the newspaper has any credibility.

Absolutely

who got what was coming to him

That phrase bothers me for some reason. I am not going to say he deserved to die, but hey you attack a cop and try to take his gun then you are likely to get blown away. Wilson was 100% justified in shooting him. The old saying play stupid games win stupid prizes applies here.

a memorial of any kind is extremely disingenuous and disgusting.

The way I look at it, this thug had many years ahead of him of making other people's lives miserable and now they won't be affected by him. I don't feel sorry for him as he brought everything on himself period!

Good! That piece of shite has caused the death of a bunch of people and ruined the lives of hundreds, he doesn't need a memorial tree.

Even if you don't agree with the "movement" or memorializing the dude, why vandalize this thing?

Whoever did this is just successfully bringing MORE attention and justification for the "cause"

I'll say it then. It doesn't bother me one bit to say the big dumbass deserved to die because he tried to charge an armed person that he had just tried to take a gun away from.

While wouldn't waste my time destroying his "memorial" I can completely agree with the OTHER SIDE of this issue for all the damage his stupidity did to THEM this town. They have feelings too .... Strongsafety.

People seem to forget there is 2 sides to this story. If big dumbass deserves a memorial D.W. deserves his job back, a raise and a promotion.

Perhaps there are 2 "causes" here.
