it crossed my mind, but as ruthless as our fans are today, I still couldn't see a fraternity coming out with basically a "Les Miles is a dumbass" homecoming setup

Now if LSU fans have to endure another record decline and more 1950s offense, all bets are off

I've hit the wall. Think i might call it a night, get some sleep and get up around 5 or so. That'll leave 7 hours before the test.

Hey, am I the only one that's furious LSU is JUST NOW offering a minor in energy?

Almost all of our high rollers are in energy, and it took the school 150+ years to come up with the idea. damnit. However, I was told LSU had a petroleum land management program until the 80s energy recession. Still would have been smart to keep through the tough times. I've looked into finding a way into energy by way of curriculum, and almost all of the schools in teh Southwest have some sort of program

Yeah our luck

I have one more class till graduation & actually also signed up for the additional classes needed for the minor this fall.

I went to the seminar/Q&A where they announced the minor/MBA specialization about a month ago. Right after, I emailed the director showing interest for this upcoming fall. She said it wouldn't be approved till ~2016 but recommended taking the classes. She sent me the proposed curriculum & was pretty positive it'd be approved.

I already have 6/15 hours needed

So that's the minor you're adding in the fall, or it won't fully be implemented until 2016?

Also, can you technically add a minor if you've graduated? I know you can still take individual classes outside of school, and I'm also pretty positive your minor isn't even on your diploma.

I should have taken geology as an elective

eta: i went to one of them too. half the questions were PE seniors freaking out about getting a job

I believe your minor is only listed on your transcript. shite, to be honest, your major isn't even listed on your diploma. Found this pic off Instagram

But I won't officially be enrolled in the energy minor this fall but she mentioned something about applying for it once it becomes available.

That won't stop me from putting it on my resume

eta: I'm pretty shocked your specified major isn't listed

Yessir. I've taken GEOL 1001 & FIN 3351

Here's the proposed minor. I'm actually not sure if it's a 15/18 hour minor. I've seen/heard both. I need to double check that

Required Courses:
GEOL 1001
GEOL 1003 or GEOL 2020
FIN 3351

9 Hrs Chosen From:
ACCT 4501
ECON 4320
ECON 4325
ENVS 4261
GBUS 4040
ISDS 4160
(or a faculty advisor-approved energy elective)

eta: I am too actually, I thought it was listed on your diploma.

Interesting. Just read you have to take 9 hours on campus, so I might have to make some difficult decisions here

I'm pissed GBUS 4040 isn't under entrepreneurship given it's "Entrepreneurship in China". what the frick LSU

2 of the classes have a focus on China, so I guess you can draw a quick conclusion for who we're outsourcing more to in the coming years.

damn, gonna talk to an advisor in the morning about this, assuming they're not booked up like always

That's a good point. I think adding a foreign language (ex. Arabic) would be an interesting & valuable asset to the minor.

Let me know how it goes
