If I physically assault a cop, I expect to be physically assaulted in return. Just like if I went up to you on the street and punch you in the mouth, I expect you to punch back.

So, this person is drunk and refuses to leave, obviously belligerent enough to even get arrested. Then calls the cop n*gger, spits on him, and kicks him while being detained.
Huge shocker she gets a single pop in the face. shite, if it was a dude he would have been beaten senseless and probably lose in court as well.

That's cool that you expect that. Certainly doesn't make it right. And what you describe certainly didn't happen to this woman in handcuffs.
A cop really needs to be in control of his emotion. A proffessional well trained cop that gets get in the shin by a small drunk woman in handcuffs (who barely made contact by the way) should not punch her in the face (and kick her in the face). It's just not a rational response from a police officer. He got angry and let that emotion control his actions. Not a good trait for a police officer.

But according to Miami, this completely justifies a handcuffed 100 lb. woman being punched by a cop. Hell, he probably should have just shot her. We've apparently given up expecting public servants authorized to exert lethal force to show any capacity for discretion and restraint.

She is going to win alot of money. This officer has already gone to court for assault and the city paid out $60,000
