Men arrested for "manspreading" in New York

Two Latino men were allegedly arrested for manspreading, sitting with knees wide open, thus occupying two seats on May 22 at 12:11am, according to a report released by the Police Reform Organizing Project in New York. This is probably the first time manspreading has led to an arrest and court appearance.
And where did "manspreading" originate from?

It's Sweden lol. They went from one of the best countries, to one of the worst countries in a matter of a few decades thanks to "progressiveness".

They arrested them after midnight. Just how crowded was this train, to where they arrested some dudes for spreading their legs and taking up too much space?
Sounds like these cops were abusing the law and just arresting people in hopes of catching somebody with some contraband.
