Can you safely remove a mole without going to a dermatologist? I know there are products to remove warts but I've never seen anything designed for moles of even skin tags.

Sure. Go see a Family Medicine or Internal Med doc that does derm procedures. FM does this more commonly in my experience.

I do that to a skin tag or to a wart. Havent had either in some time, both can bleed like crazy though!

Your primary care doctor should be able to remove them.

Pointless to remove with a knife. It will grow back. They have roots.

Applying tea tree oil a couple times a day for a couple of weeks can cause a skin tag to wither, die, and fall off.
