Am I the only person who refuses to see a DO or DMD? Especially the DOs who I think are pretty much frauds that couldn't get into a real school. I even will choose an MD based on where his schooling was done. For example I am much more apt to choose the Stanford trained MD over the LSU trained MD.

I don't eat at MD's anymore and Dairy Queen for a dipped cone every so often. You need to edit that O to a Q in the title.

would you go to a black stanford trained MD over a white LSU grad MD?

Tough question. Probably not.

I'd probably choose a doctor based on where he did his residency rather than medical school. And there's a lot of nuance to this (specialty, etc), but as long as someone trained at a large academic institution, they're fine by me.

I thought DMD and DDS were interchangeable.

That's your decision to make but it doesn't make your opinion any less stupid

Probably. I'm more likely to choose a physician, whether MD or DO based on where they did their residency or fellowship.

You can't even spell choose correctly and you want us to believe you are really particular who your Dr is?

Different types of school. Allopathic vs. osteopathic. MD harder to get into. Go to same residencies. Doesn't really matter.

Literally exact same thing as each other. Some schools just give DMD instead of DDS

How long until 911moto comes in and tries to convince everyone (mostly himself) that dentists are equal to doctors?

I'm going to need 911moto to confirm. Nonetheless, unless your name says DDS behind it I'm going with the other guy.

And in about 4 years, all MDs and DOs will be applying to and trained in the same residency programs - so the distinction will be almost meaningless.
