She can't shut down state businesses, moran. Only City-Parish.

[quote]I'm glad to folks from out in the LP cares about mayor.[/quote) not a problem brother... same way that a meth lab blows up here, I see all the concern from Baton Rouge folks... but I will take the meth heads over thugs anyday. Now they have someone that backs the racist BLM and doesn't back law enforcement, this is a perfect recipe for destruction... good luck with that

Broome announced the co-chairpersons of her transition team, Donna Fresh and Raymond Jetson. Fresh is an attorney with Baker Donelson and an early supporter of Broome.
Jetson is pastor of Star Hill Church, president and CEO of Metro Morphosis, and has been a trusted adviser, Broome says.
Broome's transition efforts will be known "BR Transitioning," lead by Fresh and Jetson.

The transition will have 8 separate teams dealing with different departments of city governments, each with co-chair persons to be announced at a later date.

The departments which each team will have control over are finance, public workers, public safety, office of community development, office of human development and services, homeland security, information services, and purchasing.

Broome said there will also be "community input" teams such as arts and culture, the Baton Rouge revitalisation fellows program, education, and flood recovery. The community input teams would allow the public to input on city parish government and policy.

During Monday's press conference, Broome said she would meet with BRPD Chief Dabadie in the coming days. She says change of leadership will not happen right away, as her and her administration search for viable candidates.

A meth head looking for their next hit is more likely to come after you, personally, than a "thug".
