Just getting around the reading this article. The only reason the attorneys are pushing for this is to build the civil case. I guess Broome has been cut in on the potential civil suit award that would occur if BRPD admitted any official wrongdoing?
What other reason would there be for her to open her stupid trap at this point? Just a few weeks ago she wanted to let the AG handle it and now she's beating the drum again.

She's not getting cut in on an AS suit, but she is using city funds to keep it real and shore up her voting block.
People like her an Chauna Banks fall all over themselves to try to dole out government money because they don't view it as their money. They come from a mindset where you scam every dime you can from the government because the funds aren't tangible items. If left to their own devices, the city would be broke in two weeks.

SWB is without a doubt the worst thing to ever happen to Baton Rouge. The racial division has never been worse. She is doing nothing to bridge the divide, except make it worse.
She perpetuates the largely held black belief that the white man is to blame for the black's problems. She caters to the idiot race baiters (fat Gravy, former gang member silky slim, and bidness man cleve dunn, jr) and gives them credibility. It's a shame.
