No.....then people would bitch about segregation. It does make a lot of sense though.

Seems like a reasonable solution. I'll bring it up at the next council meeting.

what makes you think because they are black means they want to patrol these neighborhoods? No police officer regardless of color wants to work fricking gus young park area, that I promise you.

Yeah blacks can have special cops. And while we're at it why don't we have special laws just for blacks. Water fountains and schools too. Great idea.

I think no police officers should patrol that area. Just let them have it and do with it what they want.

Separate forces for the races, but equal in quality. Separate but equal. Sounds good!

The problem is overblown.

This would create another one.

The black community has actually asked for this. And inner city police depts are very reflective of their communities.

They're asking for black dorms on campuses. Safe spaces where only blacks can congregate. A set number of jobs that only blacks can be hired for.

Next thing you know they'll want separate restaurants and water fountains.

That's ridiculous no one is saying that. However, it's quite obvious that a certain large percentage of the population dissed trusts and dislikes white police officer's, Thus it would only make sense to take away the reason for their angst IE The white cop. Or would doing this take away a nice talking point.

I don't think he meant it that way; just trying to solve a problem that may or may not be as bad as advertised.

According to NWA, black cops are worse.

I just can't help but wonder why Black people in general have such hard time getting it together.

If I were a responsible, law abiding, hard working black man or woman I would be at a loss for words.
I truly feel bad for that portion of the black race.

Nope. As soon as they do they become uncle Toms and are no longer considered "black" just like any other black person that is successful outside of being a gangster or rapper. Success or trying to move up in the world goes against the agenda and is frowned upon.

Inner city black neighborhoods are havens for criminals. Criminals hate cops regardless of race. That's the reality.

MANY, MANY AAs are exactly as you described but they don't get in front of a camera & their message doesn't fit the narrative.

Don't. It's a class thing more than a race thing. Black people in this country tend to be disproportionately in less affluent socioeconomic classes. People of all races struggle in that situation to "get it together" for a myriad of reasons.

I don't feel responsible/embarrassed because of what another black person/group of people does or doesn't do. It really doesn't affect me. No more than a white person fricking up several states away affects you (assuming you're white, of course ).
