Did any of you collect these? What were some of prizes you got? I never smoked but when I was young we would go to construction sites and load up on miles/cash. I think we ended up with a Camel lighter.

2 watches, zippo lighter, duffel bag, shirts, hat. I think that's about it.

i had a good friend that collected it, and would go around the bars at closing time looking for packs of cigs to steal their miles.

he got all sorts of stuff - bags, lighers, t-shirts, and a whole lotta other things.

he smoked but not a ton. But boy did he pile in the crap.

I did the same thing with coke in the 80s.

My dad owned a restaurant/bar when I was younger, and he would always keep the miles/cash off the packs that the regulars would just throw away, leave, or give to him...I think at one time we had the Joe Camel coffee mug.

That mug is great and will be worth money in about 40-50 years when cig smoking was something from a bye gone era.

I wish I knew where it was, I'd use it everyday if I could...I think my mom tossed it out. Typical Moms

My dad got that. Weird thing is, he smoked but didn't smoke Marlboros.

All the money I saved on tents, duffle bags, coffee mugs, zippos, etc. really came in handy when paying for my chemo.
