Yeah I'm still in for a bit longer, it's a sad loss indeed. Second service member killed in Iraq since 2014.

Crazy I was mowing the yard and my neighbor came over and I was like, "when is so and so coming home" because he was going to live across the street with them. She said that he was killed. So crazy!

Her husband is in Oki right now, just found out by his wife via Skype

Was with the wing. I'm currently with wounded warrior bn have bad ankle problems Im 28 and needing ankle replacement surgery soon.

Fell off a Huey back in 08. Kept pushing and having surgeries. Enough was enough so I'm on my way out.

We used to live in Richlands but once I got here the moved us to Heroes Manor on Lejeune

Been by your place a few times. My bil taught archery out there. Still works at the skeet range from time to time. Good luck my brother!

***update***

HONOR OUR FALLEN: The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.

Staff Sgt. Louis F. Cardin, of Temecula, California, died March 19 in northern Iraq, from wounds suffered when the enemy attacked his unit with rocket fire. The incident is under investigation.

Cardin was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones, as well as with the additional eight Marines who sustained varying injuries alongside him.
