This was a crime, but I seriously doubt one of passion.
It wasn't passion, it was done of out pure hatred and premeditation. Crimes of passion are not premeditated usually

Calm down and read that I was responding to someone who claimed that.

Not an issue in 1987.
ETA: I don't think any court even accepted DNA evidence until 1988.
That wasn't my point. The point was getting close to a victim allows an easier investigation. Fingerprints were accepted in courts. It would be much easier for a professional hitman to put a bullet in her head and gone in no time instead of taking the time to stab someone

What? Isn't a crime of passion going off suddenly in a fit of rage? It's the exact opposite of a thought out crime which means is has to be spontaneous

You know about zero of what you are saying. There are no fingerprints when you take the murder weapon away from the scene (knife) versus leaving evidence there (ejected shell casings) and the knife is significantly quieter than a gunshot. Duh.

How ironic . For 1. Not all guns leave casings. For 2. You are leaving all kinds of things when you make contact with a victim. Possibly your own blood, hairs, clothing fibers, etc. who gives a shite how loud a gunshot is when you are going to be out of there in less than 5 seconds. Happens all the time in murder cases. It would be much easier to get a shot off quickly and your out of there then to stab someone and risk being seen or the victim fighting you and screaming

How do you coon-murder someone?

But then you are shooting someone in the middle of the street in a quiet neighborhood. I don't know where you are thinking finger prints come into play but I think a knife is a much better weapon to use in those circumstances

Rusty Burns was the whistle blower. He said judge Larry Green abused him and that Green and Judge Fitzimmons had a sexual relationship. He also said that Fitzimmons had both Coon and Nunez killed. Who knows if it's true but I do believe that Green had to resign because while presiding over a divorce case the woman said he was having a affair with her husband lol. He supposedly cried and left the courtroom afterwards.
