Mardi Gras goers question

I'm in NO and I keep on looking over my shoulders expecting the worse. Like a bomb or a shooting of some sort. It kinda just puts a damper on the festival for me. I'm probably overacting but is anyone else the same way?
I just really don't want to get blown up and my friends are saying I'm overreacting but then I bring up the Boston bombers and they just walk away.

Last Mardi Gras was at the metropolitan night club had 5 Arabs w turbins sitting at a table. Never spoke to each other for 5 hours but sat together. All they did was looked around. I notified security and management. I am not going back there for Mardi Gras or any other major holiday...

I ate some bars and drank a bunch of red bull and vodkas, and I still walked out and left my friends there. It's cool for all of five minutes
