I fricking hate people who do this. It gives license to old grandpas and other assorted country bumpkins to drive 35 under the speed limit on 70 mph 2 lane undivided rural blacktops because "hey I can pull partially onto the shoulder to let people pass". It's dangerous as hell because they never pull completely onto the shoulder, leaving you always partially into oncoming traffic, and it makes them prone to suddenly jumping back into the lane while you are in it because they come across a tractor, debris, turning car, or breakdown on the shoulder they're driving on. It should be illegal (and I think they DID change that law). Just drive the damn speed limit, Farmer Joe.

Pass them and go your way. It's not your place to teach them a lesson that could risk others' safety. There are innocent people out there who shouldn't be in danger due to a petty anger.

I know. Left lane campers have an incredibly dangerous effect on traffic density behind them. That makes everything more risky.

Common sense, but that is a good video.
The national highway safety council or someone needs to spend a few million and get a short and to the point ad campaign out over tv, radio, social media, and AARP membership list.
Run those ads over and over and over until people are sick of them.
