re: LSU Urban Legends Around Campus

The Indian Mounds are the oldest man made structure of thing in the US, and they are older than the egyptian pyramids.

One of LSU's first presidents was William T. Sherman the Union General who burned down Atlanta.

As a gift he gave LSU two Cannons from Fort Sumter, that were believed to be the first shots of the civil war. They now sit on South Stadium in front of the military science building.

When I was there it was an off-color (green) section of the sidewalk, supposed painted green because some LSU law student shot himself and they had to paint over the blood stains....

Got a hand job in the basement of Coates at around that time, does that count?

Sorry, my access points are a couple of decades old.....

Try starting a new thread asking current posters where to get in now - plenty of current students on here who will help you out. I hear it's not what it used to be though....

Todd Graves of raising canes failed a project involving a business proposal for a Canes-like restaurant in school (probably more of an "einstein" like thing)

He got a C or something close to, not an F

That stubborn bastard probably refused to rewrite his project to include cajun fries.

I hear that Ben Haas still haunts the campus looking for Flags to Burn but only waits till someone sees him and runs off before attempting to do so.

I haven't heard of anyone talking about the Long Fieldhouse. Went there a few times a while back by spider-manning a fence on the back of the building. There is a bunch of old arse racketball courts and the pool has a walkway across the middle of it. Whole basement is filled with about 3ft of mud. Definitely worth checking out, but take a shite before you go. Nothing worse than dumping in a 20yr old busted toilet.

Also, most of the doors are welded shut so it is hard to get around. People spray painted devil stuff all over too.

The fieldhouse is so cool. I hear other students (especially ones who live in dorms) talk about exploring it all the time.

If you take a shite in the Kirby Smith elevator a genie will appear and grant you 3 wishes.

Well at least that must have been the idea out of some sick fricks when I lived in there.
