Where do you wish to practice law?

Out of state: Tulane
In State: LSU

This. If you want to practice in Louisiana, then go LSU. If not, go Tulane

The common wisdom is what they said above. But the truth is if you want clients who are in Louisiana then go to LSU. If you want clients from somewhere else go to Tulane.

You also have a much better global network at Tulane and it's not even close.

True. But he said he wants to work in south LA. Go count the LSU grads that are partners at Kean Miller and Phelps Dunbar, then go count the Tulane grads........

Coming from an LSU grad that looked at Tulane, if it's free, go to Tulane and marry an heiress.

In all honesty if you are smart enough to get full scholarships to both, you will finish at the top of your class and both will be fine for securing a job in BR or Nola
