God dammit. Highland Coffees, the Golf Course, what's next? And when did Baton fricking Rouge real estate turn into Central Park West? Thank God the rumors of Bogies demise in the Highland Coffee thread were untrue.

they could also stand to raise their green fees if they are worried about profit
they should also check student ID's....because every jackleg walks in and claims to be a student
course was always in pretty good shape though, but i haven't played it in a year or two

I love the quotes in the article where they act like the students best interests is one of the deciding factors. It's all about the $$ that TAF/Athletics can get from the land. Personally, I think they should just quit having classes, sell everything but the Stadium and the baseball field and call it what it is. A pro sports enterprise. (I kid of course but damn this is sad.)

That would suck. I enjoy playing out there and have over 25 years of memories of playing the LSU course in its various forms. I hate to see the trend of affordable public golf courses closing down.

Is there a limit where I can no longer claim to be a student? Honestly, I'd be happy to pay an Alumni cost if it was actually cheaper than the Public cost.
