Loyola - New Orleans student found dead inside room at residence hall

School officials said the student, a 19-year-old woman, was initially found unresponsive in her room at the residence hall on the main campus. While the residence hall was not identified, the Loyola Maroon reports it was Biever Hall.
Emergency Medical Services pronounced the student dead at the scene. The family has been notified, but the student has not been identified.
Officials said an investigation will begin into the cause of death with the help of the New Orleans Police Department and the Loyola University Police Department.
