I know all you OT ballers are well traveled......the travel board didn’t give me much traffic on this one.

Heading to Denver for a long weekend......any must do/see? Want to get out and do some hiking.....without too far of a drive.

We will be staying in LoDo Area.

Go to any dispensary. Then proceed as follows:

Sam's no. 3 Diner
Jagged Mountain Craft Brewery
Lucky Pie Pizza & Tapout
Howling at the Moon

I didn't read the whole thread, but below are a few of the things that I really like about that area:

- Catch a Denver Broncos football game

- see some music at the Red Rocks Amphitheater

- Eat at the Denver Chop House in Lodo

- Tour the Coors Brewery in Golden, CO

- Drive to Evergreen, where there is a pretty cool hiking trail

- Geologic formations at Morrison

- Idaho Springs, CO has a place where you can stop on the side of the highway to view mountain goats climbing on the rocks above.

- Eat a pizza at Beau Jo's pizza

- Visit the Denver Zoo...one of the best I have ever seen

that is what came to my head, but if I think of more, I'll post.

fwiw, be sure to bring some warm clothes this time of year and also force yourself to drink water whether you are thirsty or not.

Parmalee Gulch road into Indian Hills. Just west of Morrison.

Great hikes nearby. Eat lunch at The Base Camp.

Eta...nevermind. I've been gone 8 years now. The Base camp is closed. :(
