Long planned, contentious dog park opens in Shreveport. Dog immediately killed.

dumb arse owners. Probably didn't even cross their mind that their dogs might not be cut out for socializing freely with other dogs. I'd be livid if it was my dog. Heads would crack.

Had a rottweiler attack one of my coonhounds at a dog park once, latched on to his arse and took $1500 of skin with him. I broke every damn rib on one side of that rottweiler kicking him to try to get him to un-clench. Little 90 pound asian bitch was his owner, she wasn't doing shite. Rushed my dog to the vet so didn't get her info and I was left with the bill. Haven't been back to a dog park since then.
Ended up she lived around the corner from me, the park was in walking distance, and they moved out in the middle of the night that week according to her landlord.

Why does one need to take a dog to a park of dirt and shitty dog owners?
My dog always seems real happy with walks around the block, little bit of training in the yard, and if a water dog...a lot of training away from super shitty dog owners.
Buy a book on dog training and quit going to dog parks. 9 out of 10 dogs agree.
