Are fruit peels thrown out the car window on the way to work considered littering? I say no since they are nature's biodegradable wrapper.

Most things are biodegradable if you give them enough time.
Yes, it's littering. Quit both literally and figuratively being trashy.

I'm gonna give you a Pass on the fruit peels. Worm food inside a week. I'll allow it.
Anything made by nature is cool. Anything made by man is a No No.

Would you want someone to throw a fruit peel in your front yard every morning?

is it cool if i come throw all my orange and banana peels in your yard?

In Louisiana, yes. The definition of litter in the Louisiana Revised Statutes includes garbage and trash.
How'd you piss off a cop so bad he gave you a littering ticket for eating an orange?
EDIT: How'd you peel the orange while you were driving? You're a menace.

What about throwing watermelon rinds out the window?
Posted on 3/2/17 at 4:47 pm to Aubie Spr96
No. Those peels add nutrients to the soil. You're just being a good steward of the environment.

I vote yes. Just wait and throw it away once you get to wherever you are going.

It might draw an animal to the road, so it becomes a road hazard
Posted on 3/2/17 at 4:50 pm to Aubie Spr96
Food by the road attracts rodents who attract hawks and then the hawks get hit and killed.

On a highway in the middle of nowhere, I don't care much. I mean, don't dump a fruit stand out there, but otherwise non issue.
In a subdivision or something, yeah...it's a problem.

Depends where you throw it
Someone's yard? You're a piece of shite
A rice field? Who cares

Easy question, would you be okay with me walking down your block tossing an apple core in your front yard everyday?
