Would this year be good, or will some of this new stuff be available by Summer 2017?

I'd skip summer. It's absolutely miserable during the summer. Central Florida heat and humidity isn't fun when you add in lots of concrete and gobs of people. I've had good experiences Easter weekend and the couple of weeks in the fall before they flip over to their Christmas livery. The absolute worst was when I ended up there Fourth of July weekend.

i'm thinking about going in June. I don't like traveling football season because I have season tickets and I'm busier at work during the winter.

Once SW is complete muppets will be getting updated to a 3D muppet Star Wars show and some of that area will also be used in the SW area.

Where are you getting this info from? Are you a CM? If so, what are they REALLY doing with Pizza Planet right now? It's closing WAY too long to be a normal rehab.

Muppets themed restaurant would be cool. I'm going to see Animal Kingdom for the first time today, super pumped.

I like it, but it's my least favorite park.

Animal Kingdom is way underrated. At first, I wasn't very impressed simply because there wasn't much to do at the start and it's almost too emersive to the point where it's difficult to navigate. If it's your least favorite park today, however, either you haven't been recently or you aren't doing it right. It's come a long way and HS only has 2 roller coasters and toy story. Fantasmic is a must do too but it's a great time of the day to catch one of those 3 rides while 10k people are in there for an hour.

AK is also getting a new night time show that's almost ready. It's happening on the lake and going to incorporate some cool new tech. Looking forward to it. It's disneys attempt to show everyone it's a full day park even though it has been for years now.

In addition to the Osborne's Lights, other iconic attractions like Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground and the Earful Tower

We went in November and spent a day in each park at Disney. We didn't go to any of these "attractions". There is a reason they are closing them.

As long as rockin rollercoaster and tower of terror are still there, i'm good.

It's awesome. Bug's life is fun. The Yeti ride is awesome, one of the best, if not the best, rollercoasters in the whole resort.

Animal Kingdom sucks. The pathways are wide enough. It's like Buorbon Street on Mardi Gras it gets so crowded.

That's the rumor I've heard as well...in fact Pizza Planet and Mama Melrose were both originally planned to be Muppet restaurants but a feud with the Henson family after Jim's passing resulted in that not happening. Disney has apparently come out and stated that the location will still serve pizza. I'm asking him if he's heard anything since he's speaking as if he has inside knowledge.

Plus they need to add some new countries. I would like a Spain or Brazil area. They definitely have the space
frick that...all the parks already feel like that with the all the foreigners going there now....if disney was smart, they would just open one up in south america and be done with it.the amount of non english speaking rude people with there little flags cutting lines was enough for me to boycott them for a while.

They won't. They just got a new sponsor for the ride (TCM) and have made a couple of minor updates.

I just told my son the other day about the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground. I loved that as a kid. He saw the movie and thought it was cool but I'm sure Toy Story is cooler to him.
