We remodeled our bathrooms and ended up with mess at the electrical switch. Drywall guy was done, electrician was a fool and the tile guy worked up to this point. Any suggestions on what we can do here?

Leave it like that, no one will ever notice.

Make your own light cover plate from a piece of wood and a jig saw then hope you don't ever get any shorts behind it.

Then again, you could put a thin piece of plastic/plexiglass behind the wood cover plate and you would be fine.

You're welcome.

Edit: Better yet, call the electrician back and tell him to come fix that shat. Ask him if he has EVER seen anything done like that before and when he says 'no', ask him why he thought it would be ok. As an electrician, he would have had to have known that you would be SOL. He needs to fix it.

There is absolutely no reason you'd need that many switches for a bathroom. I'd redo it correctly. Nothing worse than using a bathroom and flipping 20 switches till you get the one that turns on the light.

Damn, you've got more switches on the wall than a control room in a chemical plant.

What are all of those switches operating in your bathroom?

You need to redo it correctly.

That's a lot of switches but what's the big deal? Just get these on your preferred color.

Yep. I think I'm going to have my NEW electrician come take a look at it.

That won't work. No plate will set allowing the switch to correctly protrude flush. Remove, add a three way old work gang box and tile before the switches are set. This way the ears can sit on the tile. Move the lower gang above the decorative rail.

WTF were you trying to do? What are the 6 switches hooked to?

Shouldn't be a huge problem for the electrician to move them above the tile. Call him back to fix his frick up and then have the tile guy cover up where the bottom switches were.

And you need to get your tile guy back out there to fix that shitty work if you keep it that way. He should know to cut the tile to leave enough room for your switches.

Google switch plates. There's a plate for that.

get two triple gang covers, top one install normally, bottom one trim to fit in that space. Maybe get one that is a matching tile or a stainable wood.

If the electrician doesn't correct it then there are shims that are made to install behind the switches to offset them outward.

Looks like the tile guy should've allowed for a plate cover there...would've been the easiest fix.

What kind of electrical shite do you have in the bathroom?

I mean, damn.
