Then made it abundantly clear that the concerns they had, were directly related to the number of championships they won.

I also noticed today that the vote was 56.5% in favor of the split, however, if you look at the student body represented by the vote, an approximate 47,000 students were represented by votes FOR the split and an approximate 48,000 students were represented by votes AGAINST the split.

I firmly believe that 1 vote per school skews the numbers. I'm not saying the electoral college always works, but they could put a roll call system in similar to the political conventions. One principal votes X number of times... X=student body size. So the principal from Class C's vote counts for 40 votes and the principal from class 5A counts as 1000+.
