BIG JUBAN CROSSING NEWS!
An anonymous source passed along to me a document that was sent out to current Juban Crossing merchants. It said that, in addition to what was located at Juban Crossing as of June, the following businesses will be coming to JC as well:
- Lowes
- Target
- Dillards
- Hobby Lobby
- Olive Garden and 3 other restaurants
- All-Star Kia and a Nissan dealer
- Two banks
- 14-screen theater (we can assume that's Movie Tavern)
- An outdoor Greek theater
- A drugstore
- A medical facility
- Four 120-room hotels
The document went on to say that Cook Road would be extended from Denham to the north side of Rouses, and that Lowes and Target would face it.
On the EAST side of Juban, across from Rouses, they have plans to open five "big box retailers" which, with parking, will make it larger than the Walker Walmart.
Sela Garden Homes will make up 46 acres and will have an entrance on Juban next to Gerald's. Not clear if they'll *all* be located on that 46 acres, but the plans call for 800 single family homes and 300 multi-family homes.
When complete, Juban Crossing will be "10 times larger than Perkins Rowe."

Screw driving 30 min to go to a mall where I can already get everything I need here locally.

football season...people will stay that far out to beat traffic as well as lower rates. I'm sure they aren't just tossing up 4 hotels with no fact checking to base this on.

They don't bother anybody... and they stick to Dollar Generals and Walmarts. Juban isn't their thing.
