Let's play a game of "how much is your health insurance"

Looking at possibly switching from a job that provides me with a mac-daddy health insurance plan (they pay for almost all of it for me) to a job where I'm not sure what their plan looks like so there's a 99% chance that I'll be looking at a substantial increase in my premiums each month. I'm trying to get an idea of what's average.
How much do you pay each month and is it for just you or for you and children?

Wife and kids covered, little over $500 per month on the best plan available with lowest out of pocket and deductible

Family plan (makes no difference how many kids you have ..or if any at all): $437.50/month. That's the regular PPO. If you go High Deductible with the HSA option (company kicks in $1,031/year for the family plan) it drops to $364. But your deductible doubles to $4K/year and you pay ALL office visit costs (no more co-pay). These of course go toward your deductible and you can use your HSA card that you dump money into tax free up to the annual IRS limit less the corporate kicker.

Lets just say this... Since the "affordable care act" came about, our family's health care insurance tripled in price...
