I find the metal bracelets to usually be too heavy. I like leather.
It doesn't last as long but I just replace it when needed.

I like the way metal looks, but they always pull the shite out of my armhairs....so I use leather or cloth, depending on the watch style and situation.

Leather. I am not so judgy that I think down upon those that wear a metal band. But I personally have ever no watch scenario in my top 20 that would have a metal band. I'd go rubber or nato before metal.
And those who claim leather stinks when sweaty.....just change it. Just paid 45 bucks this week for a new strap. Owner of the jewelry store said it's the first thing he does with his own watches. Swap the expensive leather band for a cheaper one to save the band for the complete set when he re-sells.

I use a nylon NATO. I would probably prefer leather over metal between those two choices. It seems like they all have different uses though.
