I'm in Lafayette.

Any good places I can take the kiddos within 4 hrs that has a pool, splash pad, water park type resort. I was thinking the Woodlands resort but they are all booked for the weekend of the 4th.

Thanks

Wet N Wild just north of Houston was very fun. Very nice park. Much better than Schlitterbahn Galveston and on par with Schlitterbahn New Braunfels

We go to Pirates Cove every year for the 4th and it's great. Not sure how close to coastal Alabama Lafayette is though. I know we are about 3 hours or a little more from NO. Nevermind, just checked and you are 4-1/2 hours away.

Make sure you stop in the Berry to get a haircut first.

Then RVera.

Win.

Thanks for the recommendation.

We decided that's where we are gonna bring the kids for the 4th. Booked a suite at the comfort inn suites (choice hotel) right next to Wet n Wild.

If you are a Farm Bureau member, you get 20% off at choice hotels. Or use code 00209610 for all of 2016 when booking online. Not like the internet is verifying if you have FB insurance.

Gonna check out Gander Mountain while there also in Spring.

Thanks again.

Splashtown is a hell of a lot newer and nicer and not as diverse!
