Berkley Eye Center. I think around $3800. Had most of it in the HSA already.

Do it. Don't go cheap. Enjoy your wonderful new life.

Mine was from a great doctor in Chicago, but he charged $2500 per eye. Don't bargain shop. It's your eyes we're talking about.

I got LASIK about 10 years ago, and it's definitely worth it.

I want to say at the time it was about $1,500/eye, but I don't know what it costs now.

I'll just say this - don't go bargain hunting for a procedure on your eyes. That's one of those things where it's probably worth it to spend the extra money.

Mine was $3800. You aren't paying for your eyes to get fixed, you are paying for if something goes wrong and you have the right person to fix your eyes.

My wife went to Dr. Singer ( the one with the $799 per eye deal). She wound up going with the upcharged surgery that was supposed to be better for about $1300 per eye IIRC. Almost 7 years later no problems. If I wanted basic lasik I wouldn't think twice about going to him. That's all he does all day everyday like a machine. Had been doing it for at least 10 years.
