A teenage McDonald's worker says he was fired after posting photos of "disgusting" conditions at the restaurant where he works.
The worker, named Nick, shared photos on Twitter of a tray from the LaPlace, Louisiana store's ice cream machine that was caked in a moldy-looking substance, and the photos went viral with more than 30,000 retweets and "likes."

Last week, Nick was fired from the restaurant, he told Buzzfeed.
"They banned me from that McDonald's," he said, adding that the restaurant's managers asked him to delete the tweets.
In an e-mailed statement to Business Insider, the owner of the LaPlace McDonald's said the restaurant has a long history of passing regular health department inspections.

Good thing the machine wasn't working or someone might have gotten sick.

To be fair, it's never working anyway.

Well doesn't Nick get paid to clean it? Sounds like he wasn't doing his job.

That green mold and slime was growing since probably before Nick was 10 years old.

Maybe his cousin can send his resume to baskin Robbins.

You can look up their health inspections on line. BTW, what part is that exactly?

If he transgenders himself into a woman they'll go lighter on him.

there are 2 mickey D's there. I have no idea which one. I saw this with the many links to this story online. I couldn't see any real recent inspections...

Pic 1) That's just the side drip tray from the drive shafts. Does not come in contact with the ice cream. Howerver, it is cleaned daily in a good operation. Not quarterly.
The bearings need to be changed if the driveshafts have worn them so much some ice cream ends up in that side drip tray.
Pic 2) Just disgusting. It has wheels so you can roll it out of the way to clean under it. Poor store and district management.
