Looking at planning a day there. Gonna take in tours of the sugar mill and Bayou Rum, then maybe a half day at the water park.

Any recommendations on good places to eat? Did that Spanish company ever pay for the mill? A little worried to ask about that one.. might be a bit touchy.

Maybe hit up Lions Den for some evening entertainment?

What will you do with the other 6 hours?

I always grab some Hunts Bros pizza at the exit 48 gas station.

Think you got it covered but maybe hit welsh. Stebbs and hot to trot are usually legit.

There's another adult store closer to Laccassine though. Green and white building.

The water park is really cool! Only wish they would take better care of it though almost looks abandon.

Should we fly in to Lake Charles regional or Welsh? LC might be a little crowded?

Does it have an exit or does one just stop on the side of I-10?

Mill is closed since shortly after it was finished and they have been removing equipment over the last few months. Do a tour and tastings at bayou rum, possibly could shoot some ducks out of season in the little cow pond behind the gas station on 101 south of interstate. Cruze past the highshool and see if there is any high school tail hanging out, pass by the cemetery on hwy 90 to see ol boys headstone with the huge John Deere flag flying over it. Hit little couchons for lunch, if your lucky owners daughter will be there to look at. Maybe jump over to welsh and hit stebbs on 90, they have a minuture pony working behind the bar, hit hot to trot a little further down 90 for crawfish and some cold 10oz beers, if your lucky black dude mike will be ridding around on his trike telling grandous stories and you can get a shoe shine. If all that fails cruzeiro the market basket for women or the gas station across the street if you like big women. I will have a crew out Friday and Saturday chasing rabbits and other things. Fwiw I can't land in welsh, well more accurately our pilot is worried about getting out of there so have to land in Jennings. Hope this helps, have fun

I try, just want to make sure people have a good time. Lacassine, the next great tourist destination.
