Kmart is the closest thing to a time machine back to the 1980's

If you find one with a working food court the experience can be complete. Get an icee.

Do not expect to pick up women of Wal Mart quality though.

Did you ever work the Blue Light Special cart? I remember my mom would go nuts anytime they came over the PA to announce they were running a blue light special in once department or another.

K Mart actually has one of the best outdoor departments…great patio furniture (Martha Stewart)…great prices for fertilizer and top soil…hoses and fixtures. Easy to get in, get your shite, and get out.

actually, I did...and that was one of the few good memories that I have of the job! we would have a blue light special on some kind of crap that wasnt't selling and as soon as you flipped the switch, people would come running down the aisles towards you like a herd of cows...

kinda reminded me of the hysteria that you see at Mardi Gras over those cheap assed beads...

That's because they haven't restocked their shelves since the 80's.

Wait...there is a Kmart in Gonzales?

And to the OP, Target has a mini-food court thing somewhat like Kmart had.
