Just throw em in the swamp and let them out race the gators and bull sharks. The ones that do..can swim. The others, not so much.

YMCA commercial said they take 6mo old kids for swimming lessons. Who the hell brings a 6mo old to swimming lessons. They can't even fricking walk yet.

Crawfish Aquatics is the bomb. You won't get to watch them swim until the last day but you will be amazed at how much they learn!

Yeah that's actually really cool. I've seen that before. I guess they don't actually teach the kid to "swim", just how to not drown.

ETA: as to OP, Tiger Aquatics will do swim lessons as well

Crawfish aquatics. Used to be an instructor and was more focused on banging the female instructors than teaching your tykes to swim.

ETA: massiveattack got it IN that summer mayne

no one drowned either

My kids both learned how to survive if the fell in before they were 2. ISR is great. Drownings are a top killer of kids.

We did crawfish and YMCA.

Mostly my kids learned to swim by just going to the pool a lot.

The sooner you can get the toddler acclimated to the water, the better.
