JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now/AP) - The community has come together to support a young girl who was allegedly bullied at a local KFC. The controversy started with a post on the Facebook Page Victoria's Victories. It read: 'Does this face look scary to you? Last week at KFC in Jackson, MS this precious face was asked to leave because her face scared the other diners. I personally will never step foot in another KFC again and will be personally writing the CEO.' The post was commented on and shared hundreds of times. Most couldn't believe that anyone would say that about Victoria, who was injured in a pit bull attack just a few months ago. Eventually the restaurant chain, KFC, got wind of the controversy and commented on the post with this: "Please accept our sincere apologies while we try to investigate this incident. If you could help provide details of the incident at social.media@sertec.com and we will look into this immediately. We have zero tolerance for any kind of disrespectful behavior by our team members. Once we have further details, we will immediately investigate this and take action, and we wish nothing but the best for Victoria in her recovery." The next post on Victoria's Victories Facebook page acknowledged that comment and thanked the community: "KFC has reached out for more information thanks to the overwhelming support for Victoria. Thank you for sharing her story and please continue to pray for her and her recovery. She still has several surgeries in her future and will continue to need our love and support."

I wonder what would happen if we injected race into this story?

It's sad, but I don't really expect anything else from people at that employment level.

Can I see the scary pic before judgment?

It's totally different over here in North Carolina where I'm working. You go to even a fast food place and the workers are respectful and welcoming. You don't get that in most places.

I don't mean to sound cynical but there's got to be more to the story. It reeks of some sort of manufactured controversy.

As an attorney I have handled 6 dog bite cases. 6/6 were pit bulls. It's like letting people have a pet tiger.

Hardly seems like a KFC email address. Sad story if true. Someone should be fired.

Cram what? The "problem solving" skills of even the highest ranking employee at a retail fast food joint is questionable at best.

I blame the cops. They didn't shoot the dog in time.
