So, how does the K-Cups creator get his coffee fix? An old-school coffee maker. He doesn’t have a Keurig.
“I don’t have one. They’re kind of expensive to use,” he said. “Plus it’s not like drip coffee is tough to make.”

Sylvan no longer owns the product. He sold it in 1997 to Keurig Green Mountain brewing company for $50,000. He told the Atlantic he regrets that, too.
no kidding

Keurigs never taste quite right. The coffee has no body to it.
I'm not a coffee expert by any means, but just my very amateur opinion.

he regrets the invention because he got suckered into only 50k for a million dollar product and now he is too poor to own one.

Yeah I'd have redass too if I got robbed by corporate sharks and only paid 50k. He had to have got stock options or something or he is a total dumbass

That is because the coffee and water are not in contact with each other long enough.

I never got the hype of the Keurig either. I guess if you just want 1 cup of coffee it's okay.

the only benefit of kcups is to make a single cup for one person. other than that...no benefit at all

Got one for the wife for Christmas and she loves it. It is pretty convenient for me to just plug one in so I can have a quick cup while getting ready for work.

I use coffee to help me poo and for a caffeine boost in the mornings before workouts.
If the wife is drinking coffee, we will brew a small pot but if it is just me I do a K-Cup.
When drinking socially, I usually prefer something better than what I brew or what we have for the Keurig.

Yep. I literally only use it for convenience and caffeine.

Sounds like Walter White, who sold out his son's future for a few month's rent.

Or you can just set the timer on your coffee pot and it will be ready when you wake up.

K-cups are incredibly wasteful and overpriced.
However, you can get the reusable k-cups which are convenient.

I don't have a coffee pot at home any more and the one I did have did not have a timer.
All I want is 1 cup while getting lunch ready, etc. I drink the rest of my coffee at work.

Those reusable ones are a pain in the assault defeat the whole purpose.
