Just saw black bear in LA
Posted by RIPMachoMan on 8/25/16 at 10:42 pm295
Heading to Natchez to visit a friend and saw a bear not giving two sh*ts. First bear I've seen in LA and thought it was cool.

I have seen a couple south of Tallulah...never seen one in NwLa, though...
ETA: the last time someone posted that he saw a black bear over that way, it turned out to be some garbage bags...he was fricked with for weeks.

Normally, I would only ask this about a reference to a woman.
However, did you catch a pic of the bear?

Cool. I knew of one on the North side of Zachary a few years ago. Have yet to lay my eyes on one in Louisiana though. They are much more common on the West side of the Mississippi.

I am familiar with th garbage bag joke but this was legit. It was nice to see. Felt like a kid again seeing something like that

That's why there's a bear crossing sign on I-20 close to Rayville.

They are starting to become a pest. Rumor that there will be a black bear hunting season soon

Last I checked it was caught with an illegal glock but was let go bc it had ties to BAMA in some way

Pretty sure there is a family on Avery Island and I've seen them on Weeks Island as well. Actually saw what I assumed to be a mother and a cub or two coming back from Cypermort Point once. CSB, I know.
Hell, there is a bear crossing sign on Hwy 90 near Morgan City and I've seen a few off the highway before.
